ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Matches: Complete Schedule, Venues, and IST Timings Revealed

The schedule for the warm-up matches ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 was announced on Thursday, May 16. A total of 16 warm-up matches will be played between May 27 and June 1 across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago.

The practice games will be hosted at four key venues: Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to an official release on the ICC website, 17 teams will participate in the warm-up matches. Notably, South Africa will have an intra-squad match on May 29 in Florida.

“These warm-up fixtures will be 20 overs per side and will not have international T20 status, allowing teams to field all members of their 15-player squad,” stated the ICC release.

The match between West Indies and Australia on May 30 at the Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago, will be open to fans, promising an exciting preview to the main event.
