The stage is set for the IPL 2025 auction, which will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24-25. With a record 1,574 players registering, including 1,165 Indians and 409 overseas players, the two-day event is expected to be one of the grandest auctions in IPL history.

South Africa has the most overseas registrations at 91, followed by Australia (76) and England (52). In addition, players from Associate Nations such as the USA, Canada, Scotland, UAE, and Italy have entered the auction pool.
- Maximum Squad Capacity: Each of the 10 franchises will be allowed to select a maximum squad of 25 players, competing for a total of 204 available slots. This format encourages franchises to strategically bid on key players.
